MADEIT FASHION WEEK 2016 is a week long event showcasing DROP the latest pattern for women by Madeit Patterns. With long sleeves, slash neck and asymmetrical draping, it’s the perfect transitional piece to take you through the cooler weather. It’s the ultimate in effortless dressing.
During Madeit Fashion Week, which runs from Monday 28 November August to Friday 2 December, you will see just how versatile the Drop Dress & Top can be. Styled and worn by some of the best home sewers from across the globe. They have been behind the scenes, secretly sewing up jaw dropping Drop dresses and tops in their own unique style. Be prepared to be impressed not only with what they have sewn but also the backdrops for their photo shoot.
All of the wonderful and talented Fashion Week participants have been given the challenge to take pictures of themselves wearing their DROP dress or top against an unusual, stunning, clever, breathtaking, weird, wild or wacky backdrop.
The 5 most creative pictures will win 2 yards of fabric from Madeit Fashion Week’s generous sponsor Luckyshop0228 (on Etsy). So please visit each blog and leave comments about their top Drop and backdrop, using all the ‘drop’ puns you can think of 😉
The theme for the week is ‘drop’ (of course), so don’t be surprised if something falls on your head during the event. Anything could happen. But whatever does happen, you are sure in for a visual feast for the eyes.
Madeit Patterns are very lucky (see what I did there) to have sponsorship from Luckyshop0228 this year. Luckyshop0228 specialise in modern and Scandinavian print fabrics of exceptional quality that I can vouch for. I have used their beautiful fabric a few times, here, here, here and here. It really is something special.
