If you’ve got your finger on the pulse, your ear to the ground, your eyes and ears and mouth and nose. Head shoulders knees and toes. Then you would know that Madeit Patterns have just brought out a new pattern. It’s the Spin Dress, an idea sparked by Darcy, because she knows what girls like (and not in a Tine Temapah way).
OK, I might have made that up but it may well be true. Just look around you next time you are in a crowd.
People love stripes, especially the classic black and white or blue and white.
When I named the Groove Dress, it was completely random. Seriously! I used a random generator, check out what else it could have been called. I had every intention of changing it at a later date. Naming a dress should take a while right? Not just a few thoughtless seconds. But the Groove Dress remained the Groove Dress because quite frankly, the name could not be more appropriate.
So I made myself some harem pants, I wore them immediately. Flattering, I’m not sure. Comfortable, hell yes. I took them on a test drive (to my mum’s house). “What are you wearing?” she says. Not to be confused with “What are you wearing?” Stress being on the ‘are’. Continue reading
A friend of mine who just doesn’t get the whole handmade thing once said to me, “Wouldn’t it be easier to buy stuff, rather than make stuff?”
