Madeit Fashion Week: Day 2

Welcome to Day 2 of Madeit Fashion Week

I hope you were able to visit yesterday’s Fashion Shows, they were awe inspiring. The collection of talent at Madeit Fashion Week 2015 is just fabulous, everybody has their own individual voice and they are able to ‘bring it’ to the runway.

Be excited for today’s shows, they will not disappoint. So sit back in your chair, enjoy the music and marvel at the incredible talent

Fold Fashion Show MadeIt sewn by PienkelFirst up we have MISS M, she is 7 years old, she loves horse riding, gymnastics and pizza. She dislikes boiled potatoes, talking in front of a group and spelling. But you know what? Jane Austen was rubbish at spelling, one of her first books was called Love and Freindship, but that didn’t stop her being one of the most widely read writers in English literature.

Miss M is wearing a Pleat Fold Top in her signature blue star fabric, with model’s own shorts.

Fold Fashion Show MadeIt sewn by PienkelMiss M had a quick, kick ball change into something equally as comfortable, a classic black t-shirt (model’s own) with a slick black Pocket Fold Skirt. Click on over to the Fashion Show by Pienkel.

Chi Chi Romeao and me_play

Next up, looking fierce on the runway, give a warm welcome to new kids on the block, ASHLEY and GRACE. Ashley is 7, she likes attention, being a tomboy, dancing and selfies. She dislikes not having WIFI, mushrooms and any Disney Princess.

I certainly can not imagine Ashley in a Cinderella dress up costume, can you? Ashley is wearing a Pocket Fold Skirt and her own sassy striped top. Monochrome suits her feminine tomboy style don’t you agree?

Grace is 6. She likes gymnastics, pink things which sparkle and is mildly obsessed with mashed potatoes. She dislikes Star Wars, music for children, not being in charge.

I have serious afro envy when I look at those girls. Grace is wearing a Petal Fold Playsuit (with a touch of pink of course).

Check out the Fashion Show at Chi Chi Romeo and Me.

Next up on the runway is MS P, she is 4. She likes ice cream, puppies, friends and books. Wouldn’t it be ironic if we didn’t like our friends? But MS P is only 4, so she probably doesn’t understand irony. She dislikes plain milk (she prefers it with a more chocolatey taste) and dislikes naps.

Ms P is wearing a Pleat Fold Top with a Pocket Fold Skirt. See the show at Kimmie Sew Crazy. You may have noticed Kimmie Sew Crazy is using a new little model today. Did Miss M get the push for being a diva?

Julie Morin-1

The last show of the day features A, that’s right, as in the first letter of the alphabet. A is 8, she loves chapter books, biking and making cool nature discoveries, but does not enjoy thunderstorms, lightning and not being in charge of a situation.

A is wearing a Balloon Fold Dress. Did you know the Balloon Fold Dress can be worn 3 ways? A is wearing hers full length. It’s an interactive dress and kids like to change the look throughout the day to suit their mood. It has become a firm favourite for curious little girls. See the full show at Our Chez Nous.

There will be 2 shows at Our Chez Nous today, so come back in 2 hours (4pm BST) for a special VIP after show. You are all invited.

Kid Approved_1

First on the runway we have 6 year old ANIA. She likes school, swimming and watching cartoons. But dislikes thunderstorms, hot weather and having her hair brushed. But I think we can all agree her hair looks splendid today.

She is wearing a Matrix Polo, proving that girls can rock a polo shirt too, along with a Pocket Fold Skirt. Click on the image above to see the rest of the show from Kid Approved.

Next on the runway we have Big Rascal and Little Rascal. Big Rascal is 5, he likes trains, cycling and pizza and dislikes wet clothes, brussels sprouts and school crafts. He is wearing a Matrix Polo with Book Fold Trousers.

Little Rascal is 3, he likes panda bears, chocolate and the little gym. He dislikes spiders, sharp bends in the road and lettuce. He is wearing a Kite Fold Tee with Oru Shorts.

Can you guess the boys’ favourite colour?

Tara_Girl like the sea

On runway 3 we have six year old CLOVER. She likes feminine fashion, reading chapter books and inventing things. But dislikes cheese, being interrupted while building Lego and listening to her sister sing. She is styled to her feminine taste wearing Petal Fold Separates. The Petal Fold Culottes are made from hemp silk and were dyed by her mum who was certainly thinking outside the origami box.
