Madeit Fashion Week: the round up (and win a €50 NOSH voucher)

Welcome to Day 6

Sadly this is the last day of Madeit Fashion Week. We have had a blast.

The most stunning outfits hit the runways over the last few days and the participants showed that their creative talents did not end at sewing.

We saw some phenomenal origami structures, created to keep the theme running seamlessly through.

Sewing so cal mom / Madeit PartternsBut yesterday we had a tiny technical hitch, as Julia was fashionably late to the show. If you missed her, you can still catch her strutting her stuff over at So Cal Sewing Mom.

Some eye candy by Just Add Fabric didn’t quite make it to the runway, she made so many outfits, the runway was just not strong enough to hold them all.

You can catch up on the highlights, reviews and backstage gossip at Swoodson Says, where you can also meet 2 year old Dash. He likes dumping out organized bins or containers, sweet potato fries (get the recipe here) and making his baby sister laugh. He dislikes leaving the park, broccoli and that he can’t hold all his trucks in his arms at one time.

And for even more highlights, reviews and backstage gossip, head on over to Climbing the Willow.

But we have had so much fun that we can not leave without one more little show for you. Welcome to the runway Miss VI. She is 4 years old, she likes tigers, chocolate, dresses and books. She dislikes spiders, vegetables and noisy places.

my cosy co / madeit patternsThat girl really knows how to move! Check her out in her Petal Fold Separates at My Cosy Co.

After all that hard work I need to let my hair down. I’m off to the after party to throw down some serious moves on the dance floor.

Champagne and canapés await people. Until next year, over and out.

  1. I loved seeing all the different visions of everyone using your patterns. Patterns like these are the base and the maker turns it into theirs with their color and pattern choices.

  2. I loved all the different versions of the patterns. Since I bought some patterns right away, it was a great inspiration for the patterns. What I liked most was the creation from fliegfederfrei where she created a dress out of two patterns, great idea!

  3. Great to see all those wonderful variations of these beautiful and inspiring patterns. Too bad they don’t come in adult sizes. I might try to adapt an ordinary t-shirt pattern to obtain a Fold-it version 🙂

  4. I loved the introductions of the models and what they liked and disliked. But my favourite thing was the comments about how it bothered you seeing colouring spelt coloring! Good to know I’m not alone 🙂
