Madeit Fashion Week: Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of Madeit Fashion Week

It’s amazing the excitement in the air getting ready for Madeit Fashion Week. There is a unique energy around because people can not wait to see the garments that have been made by the incredibly talented ladies behind the sewing machines.

Madeit Fashion Week is about creativity, inspiration, originality, style and of course, origami. Showcasing FOLD|2 the second collection by Madeit Patterns.

It’s great to be here representing Madeit Patterns and to introduce you to the young stars of the show.

Sit back, relax, listen to the music and enjoy the shows.

Kid Approved_1

First on the runway we have 6 year old ANIA. She likes school, swimming and watching cartoons. But dislikes thunderstorms, hot weather and having her hair brushed. But I think we can all agree her hair looks splendid today.

She is wearing a Matrix Polo, proving that girls can rock a polo shirt too, along with a Pocket Fold Skirt. Click on the image above to see the rest of the show from Kid Approved.

Next on the runway we have Big Rascal and Little Rascal. Big Rascal is 5, he likes trains, cycling and pizza and dislikes wet clothes, brussels sprouts and school crafts. He is wearing a Matrix Polo with Book Fold Trousers.

Little Rascal is 3, he likes panda bears, chocolate and the little gym. He dislikes spiders, sharp bends in the road and lettuce. He is wearing a Kite Fold Tee with Oru Shorts.

Can you guess the boys’ favourite colour?

On runway 3 we have six year old CLOVER. She likes feminine fashion, reading chapter books and inventing things. But dislikes cheese, being interrupted while building Lego and listening to her sister sing. She is styled to her feminine taste wearing Petal Fold Separates. The Petal Fold Culottes are made from hemp silk and were dyed by her mum who was certainly thinking outside the origami box.
